Vallavi Collective is our initiative that turns skilled women into nano-entrepreneurs.

The Gap
For many women, learning livelihood skills is just the first step. The bigger challenge is turning those skills into sustained income. Starting alone requires capital, raw materials, and market access, which stand as barriers along with financial risks. Irregular orders and inconsistent cash flow make individual entrepreneurship fragile. Without continued support, many skilled women return to dependency. Their skills remain underused, and entrepreneurship feels unsafe and out of reach.
Vallavi Collective
Vallavi Collective brings together women who have trained at Vallavi and are ready to earn independently. Women are organised into small collectives of around 20 members, functioning like self-help groups. This shared structure distributes risk, builds accountability, and creates collective strength. The collective provides access to raw materials, shared resources, and microloans. Women also receive ongoing guidance, mentoring, and peer support to manage production, quality, and finances.

The Impact
Women transition from skilled trainees to nano-entrepreneurs. The self-help model creates consistent, predictable, and sustainable income, which helps women gain confidence within their families and communities.
Vallavi Collective is enabling an ecosystem of women-led nano-entrepreneurship, rooted in sisterhood.
