About Us
YellowBag Foundation is a section 8 not-for-profit, working to create sustainable livelihoods for women while strengthening learning foundations for children. We believe real change happens when women are economically empowered and children are supported early in their learning journey. Our work is rooted in communities, built on dignity, and driven by long-term impact.
Through skill training, entrepreneurial support, and education programs, we break cycles of poverty and create opportunities for growth. By partnering with local leaders, donors, and volunteers, we foster environments where women and children can thrive together. Every initiative we undertake is guided by compassion, inclusion, and a vision for an equitable future.

Our Story
YellowBag Foundation was born from a singular belief: when women and children are supported together, communities become self-sufficient. The foundation began with a simple observation: women were skilled and willing to work, children were eager to learn, but opportunities were uneven and often out of reach.
Working closely with communities, we saw that when women lacked stable livelihoods, families struggled, and when children missed strong learning foundations, the cycle continued. Addressing one without the other felt incomplete. We chose to work at both ends: supporting women to build skills, confidence, and income while supporting children to build curiosity, learning, and belief in themselves.
Over time, our work has grown, shaped by listening deeply to communities and responding with practical, respectful solutions. Everything we do is rooted in dignity, local context, and long-term impact. Lasting change happens when communities are partners, not beneficiaries.
